"Hi Don; I wanted to take a minute to write something for you to share on your web site. As you know, when we came to you, we had almost given up on buying a home again. In our 50's, with a history of 2 divorces between us, bankruptcy, ex's that did not pay their share, 4 children raised, a car accident with medical bills, we therefore had 2 credit reports with issues, one with debt and another with no score from not using credit at all! Even with money saved for a down payment and having paid cash and budgeting within our means for about 8 years, we were shocked to be told by several Realtor mortgage departments that they could not help us! We followed the instructions and within about 6 months we were getting a referral to a Realtor and shopping for a home. We found our dream home in late July 2009, and were moving in by late September! We could not be happier, and had feared we would never be homeowners again! Don Davis and his staff made it happen. It is too bad more mortgage companies do not have professional people with the knowledge and helpful nature of someone like Don. What an asset to his company!
